Peyton L. Derrow - Associate Attorney

Bio

Peyton is an attorney with the Taibi Law Group where his practice focuses on advising businesses and individuals through complex business and personal injury litigation. Peyton joined the Taibi Law Group as an intern while in law school and transitioned into his current role as an attorney. Peyton grew up in Wake Forest, North Carolina, and is passionate about helping people and businesses in the North Carolina community. One of Peyton’s favorite parts about being an attorney is getting to know his clients, their stories, their businesses, and how they connect within the local community.

Peyton is a dual-degree graduate, (J.D./M.B.A.), of Campbell University and graduated with honors from the School of Law and a 4.0 GPA in the Master of Business Administration program. During his time in law school, Peyton interned under the Honorable David M. Warren at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina where he observed complex business litigation, contract disputes, and discussed matters with the Court during the ruling. Peyton also participated in international moot court competitions including the 27th Annual Willem C. Vis. and 18th Annual Vis East, earning multiple individual and team recognitions and awards for his oral and written advocacy, (see link below). In 2019, he participated in a residential program in Ghana, Africa, where he studied International Human Rights Law and Comparative Law and participated in an interactive study of history, race relations, and human rights throughout the region.
